Amol Shinde, the young person detained for causing a disturbance in Parliament. Amol is originally from in the Chakur taluka of Latur. He held up slogans and dispersed yellow smoke from a smoke candle outside the Parliament House. At present, Delhi Police has detained him.

As per further information, Amol Shinde’s parents are being questioned by a team of Latur Police who visited his home after the incident.

According to a Latur Police official, Shinde holds a bachelor’s degree. Both of his brothers are daily wage workers, and his parents are farm labourers. His brother works in Panvel, which is close to Mumbai.

Shinde was preparing for getting recruited to the army and police, according to a police official. Shinde had gone to Delhi and informed his family that he would be taking part in the army recruitment campaign. His parents did not suspect anything was amiss because he had previously participated in similar recruitment drives. 

When police questioned Shinde’s family, they discovered that he had worked as a farm laborer in addition to studying for the police and army recruitment exams. The police official stated that it is unknown at this time if Shinde is a member of any political party. How he got to Parliament is being looked into by the police.
