Mahavitaran Offers ₹120 Discount for Opting Go Green Service in the New Year!
Mumbai, December 31, 2024 – As a New Year gift, Mahavitaran is providing a one-time discount of ₹120 on electricity bills for consumers opting for its Go Green Facility.
The Go Green Facility aligns with the “Save Paper, Save Environment” initiative. Traditionally, consumers receive a ₹10 discount on their monthly electricity bills under this scheme. However, starting this New Year, a lump sum discount of ₹120 will be applied to the first electricity bill, covering the next twelve months’ benefit upfront.
Consumers who choose the Go Green Facility receive their electricity bills via email instead of printed copies. As of now, only 1.15% (4.62 lakh out of 3 crore) LT consumers have subscribed to this initiative. To encourage wider participation, Mahavitaran has decided to offer this ₹120 upfront discount as an incentive.
Registered consumers will receive SMS notifications about this offer. Upon opting for Go Green, the discount will be applied immediately to the next electricity bill. Bills will subsequently be sent to the registered email address unless the service is canceled. If the consumer continues into the following year, they will resume receiving a ₹10 monthly discount.
