Major Accident : Chemical Tanker Overturns on Pune-Solapur Highway, Causing Severe Damage to Shops
A shocking incident unfolded on the Pune-Solapur Highway, as a full chemical tanker overturned at Elite Chowk in Uruli Kanchan Gram Panchayat.
The mishap occurred this morning around eight o’clock, leaving behind significant damage to the tanker and two nearby shops. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
According to preliminary information, the tanker was en route to Solapur when the driver lost control while attempting to overtake other vehicles, resulting in the tanker colliding with the road and toppling over.
The reckless driving at high speed caused extensive damage to the roadside establishments. Promptly, an ambulance and local citizens arrived at the scene, ensuring there were no further hazards. As a precautionary measure, the driver was questioned regarding the incident.
