A dramatic video from Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat has gone viral, capturing the moment a married woman jumped from a 12-foot-high hotel roof to flee from her husband and in-laws after allegedly being caught with her lover.
The incident occurred in the Baraut area, where the woman had reportedly checked into an OYO hotel with her partner. Acting on a tip-off, her husband and in-laws, accompanied by a Dial 112 police team, reached the hotel and confronted her.
As seen in the widely circulated video, the woman, with her face covered, attempted to escape by jumping from a back window of the hotel. She then fled the scene, reportedly to avoid a confrontation. The video was recorded by someone from her husband’s family and later uploaded to social media, sparking intense public debate.
According to local reports, the couple had been embroiled in ongoing legal disputes for some time. The husband, speaking to police, expressed concern for his safety, claiming he suspects his wife and her alleged partner may intend to harm him.
Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, there has been no official police complaint or action initiated so far. The situation remains under observation, with authorities yet to confirm whether any legal steps will be taken.
