Massive fire broke out at Pimpri Police Station; 13 vehicles burnt
Around 3 pm a massive fire broke out in the open space of Pimpri Police Station where 13 seized vehicles caught fire. The cause of the fire is unknown, but the vehicles which were destroyed in the incident were laying at the ground for the last couple of years.
Three Fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot at around 4 PM and doused the fire. Ashok Popat Nimgire, on duty SHO of the Police station said that the cause of the fire cannot be confirmed as there are no electricity poles or transformers at the spot, no reason can be ruled out as of yet. All are scrap vehicles, lying at the spot for years.
