‘Meri Driving Kaisi Lagi?’ Delhi Woman Takes Over Uber After Driver Falls Ill, Wins Hearts Online
A woman from Delhi, Honeey Pipal, known for her makeup videos on Instagram, recently stepped up in an emergency, taking control of an Uber cab when the driver suddenly fell ill. The incident, which occurred on March 18, was captured on camera and has since gone viral.
Pipal had booked a cab from Gurugram to Delhi with her family, including her grandmother, mother, and young daughter. Midway through the journey, the driver started vomiting and was unable to continue driving. Without hesitation, she asked him to move to the back seat and took over the wheel, ensuring they reached their destination safely.
The video shows Pipal confidently driving while her family remains seated inside the vehicle. Instead of calling Uber services or panicking, she handled the situation herself. She later advised people to learn driving, emphasizing how such skills can be crucial in unexpected situations.
During the ride, she checked on the driver’s well-being and even joked with him, asking how her driving was. He responded positively, calling it “Badiya (Excellent).” With a lighthearted spirit, she humorously suggested splitting the fare, saying, “Since I did half the job, I should get half the fare too.”
Her quick thinking and composure have earned widespread praise online, with many appreciating her presence of mind and kindness towards the ailing driver.
