Pune, April 10, 2025: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Pune Board has announced the sale of unsold flats under its social and inclusive housing schemes. These flats, which remained unallocated after a previous lottery, will now be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Flats from the 15% social housing scheme and the 20% inclusive housing scheme had earlier been offered through a lottery system. However, due to low demand, a number of units remained unsold. In a move to make these homes accessible to a wider audience, MHADA is now allowing direct bookings.

Online registration for interested buyers began on April 10, 2025, while the next phase of the registration process will commence on April 15. Eligible applicants from the general category can now apply directly by visiting the official MHADA portal: https://lottery.mhada.gov.in/OnlineApplication/Pune.

Although MHADA has not disclosed the exact number of flats available, applicants must pay a deposit amount to reserve a flat. Additionally, an administrative fee must be paid within 48 hours of selection. Upon successful payment, the buyer will receive online confirmation of the flat allocation.

This initiative aims to boost housing access in Pune by simplifying the process and increasing the chances for general category applicants to own a home.
