MHT CET 2024 : Tentative Exam Schedule Released, Exams From March 2

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell in Maharashtra has officially unveiled the tentative schedule for the MHT CET 2024 exams. Aspiring candidates can mark March 2 as the beginning, with the examinations set to conclude on May 12, 2024.

The MHT CET 2024 exam is strategically designed to encompass three major subjects—mathematics or biology, physics, and chemistry. Notably, the exam paper’s composition allocates a significant 20% weightage to the class 11 syllabus, while the predominant 80% is dedicated to the class 12 syllabus. In terms of duration, candidates should gear up for a 180-minute examination.

In the mathematics section, candidates have the opportunity to earn 2 marks for each correct answer, while in the physics and chemistry sections, every accurate response carries a commendable one mark. An encouraging aspect of the examination is the absence of negative marking for incorrect answers, ensuring a fair and positive testing experience for examinees.
