The Aadi festival is a grand celebration observed in various towns throughout the state, attracting thousands of devotees who participate in the rituals. However, one particular hoarding sparked a social media frenzy when it was discovered that Mia Khalifa’s face had been oddly placed next to images of deities. To add to the unusual sight, her image was altered to depict her holding a ‘paal kudam’ (milk vessel), a traditional offering used during the festival.
The hoarding also featured the faces and names of the men responsible for putting it up, styled in the format of Aadhar cards. The unexpected appearance of Mia Khalifa on the festival poster caught the attention of many, given her lack of any connection to the religious event. As the images circulated online, they quickly gained traction due to Khalifa’s widespread fame, prompting the police to take down the posters.
Mia Khalifa, a Lebanese-American media personality born in 1993, gained notoriety as an adult film star, despite her brief three-month stint in the industry. She became one of the most recognized figures in the adult film world after joining the industry in October 2014. After retiring from adult films, Khalifa transitioned into a career as a social media personality, webcam model, and sports commentator.
