In a concerning incident on Wednesday, the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express train became the target of stone pelting in the vicinity of Agra Railway Division in Uttar Pradesh. Fortunately, no passengers were harmed during the incident, but the train’s window glasses were damaged, according to railway officials.

The unfortunate event occurred between Mania and Jajau stations on the route from Bhopal to Delhi’s Nizamuddin station. As soon as the railway authorities received the information, they promptly reached the spot to assess the situation. The railway authorities assured that an investigation into the matter was underway and that no passengers had suffered any injuries.

Regrettably, this is not the first occurrence of stone pelting incidents targeting the Vande Bharat Express train on its journey from Bhopal to Nizamuddin station. Reports indicate that similar incidents have happened before, resulting in damage to at least 30 window panes and doors. The majority of these attacks have taken place on the route between Delhi and Agra.

Authorities are likely to take this matter seriously and step up security measures to prevent such incidents in the future. The safety and security of passengers remain a top priority for the railway administration, and necessary actions will be taken to safeguard the well-being of all travelers.
