Missing 18-Year-Old Girl From Maharashtra Traced to Goa, Reunited With Family
An 18-year-old girl who went missing from Maharashtra’s Satara district was located in Goa and reunited with her family, police confirmed on Saturday.
The teenager, who disappeared from her home in Manewadi on Friday, was found traveling on a train to Kerala. She was intercepted at Margao station in South Goa following coordinated efforts by the Goa and Maharashtra police.
“Upon receiving the missing complaint, technical surveillance was deployed to track her movements,” a police official stated. The girl was reportedly traveling with another individual when she was located.
After being taken into custody, the girl was handed over to the Satara police, who later reunited her with her family. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
