Many efforts were made to control the spread of the virus, and PCMC were successful too in controlling the spread in the month of October. Assisted by the doctors, civic workers, cleaning workers, hospitals, PCMC set an example in controlling cases, but due to the negligence of not wearing masks while getting out, not following social distancing, over crowding, not getting checked for any symptoms of COVID, we are again letting the COVID go out of our hands, which was expected earlier by the experts.”

He further opined, “The citizens should get themselves checked for any symptoms of fever, cold, cough, headache or weakness as early as possible and getting tested early which helps in recovery an result in recovery. On the occassion of Diwali, people are visited their relatives, friends, social get togethers again where social distancing went for a toss. The corporation and the health staff is on their feet to tackle COVID19 but citizens should also support them. Upcoming two months are going to be crucial.”
