Moshi’s Transformation: Villagers and Leaders Stand Together for Progress Under MLA Mahesh Landge
MLA Mahesh Landge has initiated a new chapter of development in the Bhosari constituency, including the Moshi area, with projects such as a 650-bed hospital, a judicial complex, an engineering college, an international exhibition center, and a Samvidhan Bhavan. These innovative projects aim to bring progress to regions like Moshi, which have historically lagged behind compared to Pimpri-Chinchwad. Former Deputy Mayor Sharad Borhade expressed his determination for the villagers of Moshi to stand united in support of MLA Landge’s vision.
In a show of support, a campaign event was held at the Nageshwar Maharaj Temple in Moshi, marking the beginning of MLA Mahesh Landge’s election campaign for the official BJP-led alliance candidate for Bhosari Assembly constituency.

The campaign visit witnessed a wave of enthusiasm among the locals, who welcomed MLA Mahesh Landge with floral showers, fireworks, and rangoli displays. The campaign began in Moshi Gaothan and included stops at Shivajiwadi, Hawaldarvasti, Saste Wadi, Alhatwadi, Lakshminagar, Kudale Vasti, and Saste Vasti. Present were former and current officials, party workers, and local residents.
Through MLA Landge’s initiatives, Moshi has seen the implementation of projects such as waste-to-energy at the Moshi waste depot, bio-mining, biogas production, and a C&D waste project, with a reduction in the buffer zone area, which has facilitated the creation of infrastructure. Other notable projects include the international industrial exhibition center, Samvidhan Bhavan, Pimpri-Chinchwad Judicial Complex, an IIM campus, and the monumental ‘Statue of Hindubhushan’ of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj—the tallest of its kind worldwide. The villagers expressed pride in these developments that have boosted Moshi’s reputation.
Former Deputy Mayor Sharad Borhade stated that Moshi and nearby villages were incorporated into the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation in 1997. However, despite this inclusion, these areas lacked substantial development until 2014, when real progress began. Today, some of the largest development projects are in the Bhosari constituency, with Moshi playing a prominent role. These projects have brought significant recognition to Moshi and the surrounding areas, attracting major housing projects, jewelers, and branded clothing businesses to the region. The credit for this progress goes to MLA Mahesh Landge’s visionary leadership.
“MLA Mahesh Landge has brought numerous development projects to the Bhosari constituency, making decisions that benefit the common people. The state government under the Grand Alliance has been working very effectively. The Ladki Behen scheme has been especially beneficial for women. We are united in support of MLA Mahesh Landge to bring our government back.”
