In a chilling case that has rattled residents of Pune’s Bibwewadi area, a mother and her live-in partner have been arrested for allegedly subjecting her minor daughter to a horrifying act of abuse—apparently as revenge for revealing their illicit relationship.
According to police reports, the minor had informed her landlord about her mother’s affair with the accused, Gurudev Kumar Swami. Enraged by the disclosure, the woman, with Swami’s assistance, allegedly stripped her daughter, recorded an obscene video of her, and circulated it among acquaintances, including Swami himself and some relatives. Further investigation revealed that the woman also forced her boyfriend into having an immoral relationship with the girl—an act that has sent shockwaves through the local community.
Following the release of the video, the duo fled the area but were later apprehended by Bibwewadi police on Saturday. Authorities stated that both suspects had a history of suspicious behavior, and the gravity of this incident has led to widespread anger and concern among residents.
