A Ranchi court has received a criminal complaint from cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni against 2 persons. He has filed case against his ex business partners Mihir Dawkar and Soumya Vishwash regarding a 2017 deal.

According to reports, an accused and MSD signed a deal in 2017 to open a cricket academy with a global reach. The accused, however, disregarded the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement. Aarka Sports was required by the terms of the agreement, which were not followed, to pay a franchise fee and share profits.

The terms and conditions outlined in the agreement were ignored in spite of multiple attempts. As a result, on August 15, 2021, MSD revoked the authority letter that Aarka Sports had been granted. They also unsuccessfully sent multiple legal notices.

The person representing MS Dhoni has claimed that Aarka Sports misled and defrauded them, causing them to suffer a loss of more than Rs 15 crore.

A friend of Dhoni’s has also filed a complaint, claiming that he was harassed and threatened following their legal action against Aarka Sports.
