Pune, February 1, 2025 – To provide a more reliable and high-quality electricity supply to residential, commercial, and industrial consumers in the Kondhwa and Pisoli areas, MSEDCL has commissioned two new 22 KV power lines. The inauguration was led by Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar, benefiting around 41,900 consumers with improved and uninterrupted power supply.

The newly operational Aarti 22 KV Industrial Feeder and Brahma 22 KV Feeder originate from the 132/22 KV Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation in Bibwewadi. Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar inaugurated these power lines in the presence of Superintendent Engineer Arvind Bulbule, Executive Engineer Chandrakant Dighe, Varsha Borkar, Additional Executive Engineer Rajendra Bhujbal, and Assistant Engineer Shrikant Avchar.

Impact of the New Power Lines

– The Aarti 22 KV Industrial Feeder has reduced the load on the Kumar Palm 22 KV Feeder and the Sobha Substation. This will directly benefit around 18,900 consumers in Punyadham Ashram Road, Tiny Industrial Area, and Pisoli Road, ensuring a more stable power supply for industrial, commercial, and residential users.

– The Brahma 22 KV Feeder now supplies power from the Brahma Switching Station, catering to 23,000 consumers in Kondhwa, Bhagyodaya Nagar, Shivneri, Kuba Masjid area, and Waghjai. This will not only enhance power reliability but also provide an alternative supply source for the Brahma Switching Station in case of emergencies.

With these advancements, power consumers in Kondhwa and Pisoli can now expect a more stable, efficient, and high-quality electricity supply from MSEDCL.
