Nala near Ujjwal Park to be beautified; work to complete soon
The work for beautification of nala near Ujjwal Park and Vijay Park started recently. The Pune Municipal Corporation has taken up the task of constructing a wall, erect a mesh and also add some beautification over the wall.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, local Corporator Prabhag 26 Nanda Lonkar said, “For a very long time, the residents were complaining of waste being dumped into the nala. Hence, it was decided to construct a wall that will curb dumping of waste, also by putting up a mesh people won’t be able to throw any sort of waste. I am also planning to beautify it after the work is over. Work should get over within the next few days. “
