Appreciates Sujit’s determination and perseverance

Pimpri: Former opposition leader and corporator Nana Kate has extended a helping hand to Class VIII student, Sujit Tarzan Singh, who distributes newspapers in Pimple Saudagar area, Rahatni.
Kate donated a bicycle and a school bag as an appreciation for his determination and perseverance.

Nana Kate met Sujit Tarzan Singh while he was inspecting the problems and development work in the area. He enquired about Sujit who said that he was living with his father and distributed newspapers in 150 houses. His father Tarzan Singh works as a watchman in a society.
As the financial situation of the house is not sound, he had to do small and big jobs along with education.

On August 15, Nana called Sujit to his office and asked about his daily routine, academic struggles and the hard work he does to manage the household financial budget and about everyone in his family.

After this, he called his father and told him that needy students in school should not be affected by the financial situation in their home. He started giving bicycles to needy students as they would not have to walk to get education. Sujit’s father thanked Nana for giving his child a bicycle.

Sujith expressed his belief that the cycle will save me time and the effort of going on foot, which will be useful for completing my further education.
“There are some children in the society who are working hard to meet the financial needs of their household. I feel a special sense of pride in helping children like Sujit,” said Kate.
