Manassas Park Police Chief Mario Lugo confirmed the investigation is active, with officers conducting searches based on leads and subpoenaed records. Multiple locations, including Blooms Park and wooded areas near Bhatt’s residence, have been combed, but no significant evidence has been found.
“We’re following tips and records that are starting to come in,” Chief Lugo stated, indicating more searches will occur as new information emerges.
