National Lok Adalat To Be Held On May 9 Across Pune District

Pune, May 8, 2026: A National Lok Adalat will be organised across Pune district on Saturday, May 9, 2026, to facilitate the settlement of pending and pre-litigation cases through mutual agreement between parties.

Appealing to litigants, advocates and citizens to participate in large numbers, President of the District Legal Services Authority and Principal District and Sessions Judge Mahendra Mahajan said that people should take advantage of the Lok Adalat platform to resolve disputes quickly and amicably under the theme, “Justice for Allâ€Ĥ Fast, Simple and At Your Doorstep.”

The District Legal Services Authority stated that Lok Adalat has emerged as an effective platform for resolving disputes in a satisfactory manner through compromise and mutual settlement. The Lok Adalat will be conducted not only at the district headquarters but also in all taluka courts across Pune district.

In-charge Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority M. P. Bhavsar said that both parties in a dispute get an opportunity to present their side during Lok Adalat proceedings, and cases are resolved quickly due to settlements reached through mutual consent. He urged citizens to refer maximum cases for settlement through the Lok Adalat.

Citizens have been asked to contact the District Legal Services Authority at the District and Sessions Court, Pune, as well as Taluka Legal Services Committees and Civil-Criminal Courts located in Baramati, Indapur, Daund, Shirur, Vadgaon Maval, Khed-Rajgurunagar, Ambegaon-Ghodegaon, Junnar, Purandar-Saswad and Bhor for more information.
