A coastal road that will connect the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) and the under-construction Late DB Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is scheduled to connect Navi Mumbai.

This development is part of an effort to improve infrastructure and connectivity. In addition to reducing traffic, the ambitious Rs 700 crore project by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has the potential to boost economic growth and improve living conditions for those who live in the satellite city and its environs.

As per further information, the Ulwe Coastal Road, which links NMIA and MTHL, is hailed as a game-changer. It is anticipated that this strategic linkage will shorten travel time, giving commuters between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai a quick and effective route.

The 7-kilometer road will link Belapur’s MTHL Junction and Amra Marg Junction. In addition, a 1.2-kilometer elevated link that makes the commute from Targhar Railway Station to NMIA easier will be a part of it.

The road is expected to completely transform Navi Mumbai’s landscape by establishing a smooth connection between the airport and the trans-harbour link, thereby enhancing its accessibility, vibrancy, and economic stability. The Ulwe Coastal Road is a route that leads to a more connected and optimistic tomorrow.
