NFAI to host Hungarian Film Festival on 10 – 11 December

The season of film festivals is here again and National Film Archive of India is ready to present the film viewers different flavours from world cinema. National Film Archive of India is delighted to host Hungarian Film Festival next weekend on Friday 10 December 2021 and Saturday 11 December 2021. The two days film festival is organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of Hungary in Mumbai.

The inaugural event will take place at NFAI, the main auditorium at 5 PM on Friday 10 December. Hungarian actress Karina Kecskes and filmmaker-producer Peter Tokay will be present at the opening ceremony.

Showcasing a diverse selection from Hungarian cinema, the festival is going to present four films from different genres. The list of films includes an adventure film Bet on Revenge (2017) by  Herendi Gábor, a biographical action-crime drama The Whiskey Bandit (2017) by Antal Nimród, Fekete Ibolya’s family drama Mom and Other Loonies in the Family (2015), and Goda Krisztina’s comedy-drama BÚÉK (2018).

The festival will take place by following all safety protocols, social distancing norms and other necessary regulations. The entry is free, and seating will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
