Voter’s registration drive extended till Dec 5

Election Commission of India’s special voter registration drive is now being extended till December 5. Earlier, the drive was announced from November 1-30, 2021 where in the electoral list was slated for publishing on January 5, 2022. But since the date has been extended voters can now register themselves till December 5, 2021. Those who have completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2022 can also register in this drive.

Voters can register themselves on www.nvsp.in website online, verification of contact details, including name, mobile number, address, etc can be rectified. The final electoral list will now be released on January 5, 2022.

Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Collector, Pune district said, “Voters must check for their contact details during this extended period. If they find their name is missing from the list, or add or delete names (deceased) should be rectified.”
