“NIA Launches Early Morning Raids in Mumbai and Maharashtra, Targeting PFI-Linked Suspects”

On Wednesday morning, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) initiated extensive searches at Abdul Wahid Shaikh’s residence in the Vikhroli suburb of Mumbai, as well as at multiple locations across Maharashtra. The raids were conducted on both residential and office premises of individuals suspected to be connected to the suspicious activities of the Popular Front of India (PFI).

Central Agency officials, in collaboration with local law enforcement, executed the raids in Thane, Pune, and other areas. In Mumbai, officials concentrated their efforts on the residence of Wahid Shaikh, who had been acquitted in the 7/11 blast case.

Sources indicate that Wahid Shaikh is involved with the “Innocent Network,” an organization suspected of having ties to the PFI.
