Devastating Accident Claims Couple’s Lives in Dumper Collision

A tragic incident unfolded as a couple lost their lives when struck by a dumper in the Line Bazar area, as reported by local law enforcement sources on Wednesday.

According to the police, the victims were identified as Vinod (45), a resident of Bardah in Azamgarh district, and his wife, Lalita (40). They had traveled to Jaunpur for some business matters on Tuesday. Tragedy struck on their way back to Azamgarh late at night when their motorcycle skidded on ballast, causing them to fall onto the road, where they were subsequently struck and killed by the dumper.

Local residents apprehended the dumper’s driver, leading to his arrest by the authorities. The bodies have been dispatched for a postmortem examination, and the family of the deceased couple has been notified about this heart-wrenching incident.
