Potholes riddling Mangaldas Road have become a major headache for commuters, posing challenges for motorists and pedestrians alike. The peril is compounded during the rainy season when these cavities fill with water, concealing the danger and increasing the risk of accidents.

Frustrated with the ongoing inconvenience, commuters are urging the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to address the issue urgently.

Aniruddha Pawaskar, head of the road department at PMC, assured that civic engineers are actively assessing the potholes and have devised a swift plan for repairs. He emphasized the responsiveness of PMC to complaints lodged by commuters via WhatsApp and SMS, affirming that these concerns would be promptly tackled.

With Pawaskar’s reassurance, commuters hope for a speedy resolution to the pothole problem, restoring safety and ease of travel along Mangaldas Road.
