Pune, March 26, 2026: The Petrol Dealers Association Pune has clarified that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel in the district and appealed to citizens to remain calm.

In an official statement issued on March 25, Association President Dhruv Ruparel urged residents not to rush to fuel stations or engage in unnecessary stockpiling, assuring that adequate fuel supplies are available and the situation is stable.

The association also cautioned the public against believing or spreading rumours on social media, stating that such misinformation could lead to avoidable panic.

Officials confirmed that a meeting was held with the District Collector of Pune, during which oil marketing companies reiterated that there is no disruption in fuel supply across the district.

The association stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and remains in constant coordination with the district administration, state government, oil companies and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Citizens have been advised to rely only on official updates, with the association assuring that any further developments will be communicated through formal press releases.
