Now, MSEDCL consumers can send meter reading on mobile via SMS
The power consumers of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) have already issued information regarding its online system of payment where people can pay the bills every month.
Since, the lockdown has been imposed, the workforce has been reduced and several societies becoming micro containment zones, the MSEDCL staff are not allowed to enter the premises.
In order to resolve the issues of delayed bills, MSEDCL has urged the power consumers to send the meter readings through an SMS. Consumers who do not have access to web based applications and others too, can send the meter reading on SMS.
How to send the meter reading through SMS ?
MREAD <SPACE> <12 digit consumer number> <SPACE> KWH Reading 8 Digit number and send to 9930399303.
