Online interface facilitates stay of participants of SPPU’s ‘Aavishkar’ in Pune
Savitribai Phule Pune University has introduced a unique QR code which directs the ‘Aavishkar 2023‘ participants into an online information interface that facilitates their stay at SPPU at ease.
The code reveals the details of the 15th Maharashtra State Inter- University Research Convention, the ‘Aavishkar’ which has started from January 12 in SPPU campus. This QR code is available on the ID cards provided to everyone related to the competition. The code directs the viewers to the official online portal providing all the necessary information for this year’s Aavishkar competition. The page provides the tentative schedules of the program too. Aavishkar- 2023 website includes 4 tabs. The first of the tabs is ‘University google map links’ and then is the ‘University Map’ to help the participants to accommodate and guide through the university campus. The third is ‘Important Contacts’ and then the ‘Schedule of the Convention’. The idea was put forward by the Helpdesk Team and was carried out with the assistance of the Geography department of SPPU.
The portal will make the engagement easier and interesting for the students from total 22 participating universities from all across the state.
“This QR code provides the contact details of each and every person over here. If anything goes wrong we can directly call the person incharge. The hospitality is very good, and great use of technology.” – Shreyash Bubde (Student, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University)
“I have a previous experience of generating maps though not on this great scale. I am very glad to present this to the participants, this will make their accomodation in SPPU a lot more effortless. – Yogesh Badhe (Senior Research Student, Geography Department SPPU)
