Golf Club Chowk Flyover in Yerwada to be inaugurated by CM Eknath Shinde on January 14
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the flyover on January 14.
The traffic congestion at the Yerwada’s Golf Club chowk will soon become a thing of the past as the newly built flyover, Dharmaveer Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Flyover is all set to open for vehicles on Saturday, January 14.
Jagdish Mulik, president, Bharatiya Janata Party, Pune city informed that the flyover will be inaugurated at 2 PM by CM Eknath Shinde, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Pune district guardian minister Chandrakant Patil.
Mulik further stated that the traffic on Nagar road near Gunjan chowk, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar chowk and Shastri Nagar has heavy traffic. “There was a need to develop a flyover to ease the congestion. Yogesh Mulik, standing committee chairman then got sanction of Rs 28 crores for constructing the flyover,” he said.
