OTT Releases 2026: 10 Much-Loved Hindi Web Series Making a Comeback This Year
The year 2026 is shaping up to be a treat for OTT lovers, especially fans of Hindi web series. From small-town dramas and courtroom comedies to crime thrillers and bold anthologies, several fan-favourite shows are gearing up for their next chapters. Some will wrap up long-running love stories, while others will push their narratives into darker, more intense territory. Here’s a fresh look at 10 popular Hindi web series returning in 2026, along with everything we know about their upcoming seasons so far.

Mismatched – Season 4
Netflix’s youthful romance Mismatched is heading towards its finale. Season 4, which will be the last season, is expected to premiere between mid to late 2026. Filming kicked off in late December 2025, with the cast spotted shooting in Mumbai. The season will bring closure to Rishi and Dimple’s on-again, off-again love story, giving fans a final emotional ride.
The Royals – Season 2
After a successful first outing, The Royals is returning with Season 2, expected to drop on Netflix in mid-to-late 2026. The series was officially renewed in May 2025 and is currently marked as “coming soon.”
Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar reprise their roles as Aviraaj and Sophia, while veteran actors Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, and Nora Fatehi are also likely to return, promising more drama, glamour, and palace intrigue.

Kohrra – Season 2

Barun Sobti is back as Garundi, with Mona Singh joining the cast as the story dives into a new murder mystery set against the backdrop of Punjab.
Farzi – Season 2
One of Amazon Prime Video’s biggest hits, Farzi, is gearing up for its much-anticipated second season. Filming is expected to begin in January, with reports suggesting a Diwali 2026 or late-2026 release.
Although no official date has been confirmed, the original cast — Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, and Kay Kay Menon — is set to return. The narrative will continue the tense Sunny vs Michael face-off, picking up from the explosive cliffhanger of Season 1.

Lust Stories 3
Netflix’s bold anthology Lust Stories is returning with its third instalment, currently under development and expected to release between mid to late 2026.

The story will explore Sachiv Ji’s career dilemmas, his evolving relationship with Rinki, and the shifting dynamics of village politics after the arrival of a new Pradhan.
Gullak – Season 5
SonyLIV’s heart-warming family drama Gullak is officially returning with Season 5, expected to premiere in late 2026. Filming began in late 2025, though the release date is yet to be announced.
This season will see a major cast change, as Vaibhav Raj Gupta (Annu) exits the show. Meanwhile, Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Harsh Mayar return as the Mishra family navigates a new phase of life after moving into an apartment.

Mirzapur – Season 4

Following the success of previous Scam instalments, Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga is expected to premiere on SonyLIV in early 2026 as part of the platform’s upcoming content slate.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Applause Entertainment, the series chronicles the rise and fall of Subrata Roy, continuing the franchise after stories based on Harshad Mehta and Abdul Karim Telgi.
