Parge Nagar – Kondhwa link road opened for public

For the last many years, the residents of Kondhwa mainly from Parge Nagar often faced inconvenience due to the traffic congestion on the main Kondhwa road as well as Mayfair Eleganza to Welcome Hall road.

But since the DP road marked ahead of City Lawns was not under possession of the Pune Municipal Corporation there was no respite to the citizens from the congestion. It was in the year 2021 that the possession of the road was expedited by the citizens representative of the area.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, local Corporator Prabhag 26 Nanda Lonkar said, “The road was earmarked in DP but not in possession of the PMC. The technicalities of acquiring the road took a long period but finally it came in December 2021. In January 2022 the foundation was laid for the road work and in March 2022 the road was opened for public. With this link road, the congestion on the main Kondhwa road as well as access to societies in Parge Nagar would be easy.”

This link road will save time of the residents living in Parge Nagar and also reduce the burden on the main Kondhwa road. The final inauguration of the road took place on March 26, 2022 at the hands of MLA Of Hadapsar constituency Chetan Tupe and residents of Parge Nagar.
