Parking Regulations Changed at Kokane Chowk in Pimple Saudagar

Pune: In order to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, the Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police has created a no-parking zone in many areas of Sangvi.
As per information, the road between Kokane Chowk to Park Street Society is heavily crowded by two-wheelers and four-wheelers daily. Between Kokane Chowk and Raghunath Godambe Chowk, two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles are parked on both sides of the road every day, so there are frequent traffic jams.
In order to ensure safe and smooth traffic in Pimpri Chinchwad city, excluding essential service vehicles (e.g. fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulances, etc) the following final orders are being issued.
- · On the main road from Kokane Chowk to NS Snacks Centre, no parking zone will be there.
- · On the main road from Raghunath Godambe Chowk to Kokane Chowk, no parking zone will be there.
- · On the service road from Raghunath Godambe Chowk to Kokane Chowk Chowpatty, no parking zone will be there.
The final notification regarding declaring the above places as no parking zones will be published soon. The said notification will be implemented from August 8, 2023.
