Train service disruptions caused by technical issues caused significant inconvenience to commuters traveling between Pune and Lonavala. Unexpected rail congestion between Malavali and Lonavala stations resulted in the cancellation of two crucial local trains, 01561 from Lonavala at 14:50 and 015664 from Pune at 11:17, according to the Pune Division DRM.

As a result of continuous improvements on the Sangli-Miraj line, this was a part of a larger trend involving 34 trains. It was advised to commuters to keep an eye out for announcements of brief delays and cancellations.

Railway authorities said that they are working diligently to address issues and restore regular train services as soon as possible.

Two local trains on the Pune to Lonavala route were canceled on Monday due to a disruption in local train services, according to information provided by the railways.

Due to a blockage in the line, the railway workers had to promptly perform the necessary repairs.

A regular local train passenger said that normally, he takes local trains from Lonavala to Pune for work, but on Monday, when he went to board the local train at Pune station, it was announced that it had been canceled. Railways are unable to abruptly cancel any trains, which negatively impacts hundreds of passengers.
