PCMC Collects Record Breaking Property Tax Till September 2023
PCMC is providing concessions on various taxes to encourage people to use the online payment mode.

Pune: Rajesh Patil, administrator and commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has decided to give a discount of 4% on general tax paid online between July 1 and September 30.
Nilesh Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner, Tax department, has appealed to the income holders to avail the benefit of the tax relief scheme by paying their taxes online.

The civic body is providing concessions on various taxes to encourage people to use the online payment mode.
“As many as 1 lakh and 30 thousand income holders have paid their taxes online. As a result, Rs 250 crore has been deposited in the PCMC account till June 30. Initially, a 5 per cent discount was being offered for citizens who pay taxes online,” said Nilesh Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner, Tax department.
“I have asked the IT department to keep the online transaction system robust so that people don’t face any problems while filing tax returns online,” added Deshmukh.
