PCMC aims at vaccinating 600 people on May 2

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is holding the vaccination against Covid19 program for people from age group between 18 – 44 years on May 2, 2021 as per the guidelines issued by the Maharashtra state government.

PCMC has identified three hospitals in the city, New Bhosari Hospital, New Jijamata hospital and Premlok Park clinic where the doses for Covid19 Vaccine shall be administered.

Vaccinations shall be given to people those who have pre-registered. Walk ins will not be entertained. Only 600 people shall be given the vaccines on May 2, 2021.

Since, there is shortage of vaccines, the drive shall not be held for people above 45 years of age. People are hereby requested not to gather at the vaccination centers.

The vaccination drive shall be held between 10 am to 5 pm.

Dr Pavan Salve, additional health officer, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation said, “Out of 600 people who were registered, 552 were administered the Covid19 vaccine first shot. Even on May 2, our aim is to vaccinate 600 people.”
