Pimpri-Chinchwad, March 14, 2026:The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has collected more than ₹800.84 crore in property tax during the current financial year from April 1, 2025 to March 14, 2026. The civic body attributed the strong collection to better planning by the tax department, implementation of incentives, and the availability of both online and offline payment facilities.

Expressing gratitude to taxpayers, PCMC Mayor Ravi Landge thanked citizens for their positive response and timely payments. He also appealed to pending taxpayers to take advantage of the Abhay Scheme and clear their dues at the earliest.

To provide relief to defaulters, the municipal corporation has introduced the Abhay Scheme under which property owners who clear their pending tax in a lump sum between March 1 and March 31, 2026, will receive a 90 percent waiver on the penalty amount. Officials said only 17 days remain for citizens to avail the scheme.
