PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar pedals to review city’s first bicycle track

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner, Shravan Hardikar, took the fetish for bicycle friendly city to a whole new level when he pedalled almost 30 kms of first ever bicycle stretch with city based bicycle enthusiast and the bicycle mayor of the city, Ashik Jain.

The mayor travelled between Pimple Saudagar – Rajiv Gandhi Bridge – Hinjewadi – Kalewadi – Auto Cluster. While reviewing the work of the track, the commissioner added inputs to bring extra convenience to the bicycle and jogger friendly track.

Ashik Jain, bicycle mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad while talking with Pune Pulse said, “It was good to understand his motive and perspective regarding the bicycle track development. His way of thinking and visualising things has empowered us.”
