Residents of Jarvari society in Pimple Saudagar were in a deep shock when a visitor brutally beated the security personnel who was performing his duty.

The visitor who came to visit his friend’s house was allegedly drunk and thrashed the security personnel so harshly that he was bleeding profusely. The only fault of the security guard was that he had asked the visitors the details of the house he wanted to visit. The angry visitor brought many other people and started thrashing the guard badly.

A management committee member told Pune Pulse, “A very serious and unfortunate incident happened in the society recently. An outsider came to the society yesterday evening to visit a tenant resident. The security at the main gate asked him to make an entry at the gate for which he abused the security and manhandled him. It has been reported that he was in a very inebriated condition. He brought another 15 friends and beaten up the main gate security. Akhilesh, our guard, very badly injured his head, face and body. They also damaged society’s property resulting in monetary loss. Such incidents can not be tolerated in our society. Our security people were following the instructions given to them for the safety and security of our residents and we will not allow that to be compromised in any way. We will hold the concerned resident for whom the visitor came responsible and take strict action against them and will ask to compensate for the loss. ”

He further stated that residents should instruct their visitors to comply with the society’s rules. If they can’t follow the rules which are in place in our society, tell them not to visit our society. Simultaneously, as a large number of owners are abroad/ out of station, it is essential that due diligence/ verification of tenants selected must be done  by them. A special word of thanks to Aditya Kate, our security vendor, for taking immediate necessary action to bring the situation under control.”

The security personnel chief of the society Aditya Kate informed Pune Pulse that the security personnel deployed on that day was beaten up badly by the visitor. He suffered multiple injuries. He was performing his duties. We are clueless why the visitor beat him up so rashly ?
