Pimpri-Chinchwad Engineer Creates World’s First Advanced Cradle With AI Technology
A remarkable innovation from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, is set to revolutionize baby care. An engineer from the Pimpri Chinchwad area, Radhika Patil, has developed the world’s first advanced AI-powered cradle, named Cradlewise, which promises to provide better comfort and care for infants. The cradle has received patents in both India and the US, and sales and services have now been launched in India.
The cradle is designed to monitor a baby’s movements and send notifications to parents through a mobile application. When the baby wakes and starts moving, the cradle automatically initiates gentle rocking to soothe them, preventing any disruptions to their sleep. The cradle uses AI technology, along with advanced cameras and sensors, to ensure safe, quiet operation. The product has received certifications from the Juvenile Product Manufacturing Association (JPMA) and GREENGUARD for its safety features.
Cradlewise helps parents save time while providing their child with optimal care. It is suitable for babies up to 24 months. The technology behind the cradle was inspired by the challenges faced by Radhika and her husband, Bharat Patil, after the birth of their child in 2018. The couple, both highly educated, combined their experience in science and engineering to create this groundbreaking product.
This innovative cradle has been recognized internationally, earning accolades like the “Best Inventions Award” by Time Magazine and being featured by Fast Company as the next big thing. With thousands of families in the US and Canada already benefiting from this technology, Cradlewise is now available in the Indian market, bringing a revolutionary product to households across the country.
