The PCMC Commissioner yesterday also informed that the residents can now inform about the potholes in their area on the Sarathi App.
Shekhar Singh, commissioner, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation taking cognizance of the situation, has personally overseen the planning process to ensure swift execution of the repair projects. Alongside road repairs, the municipality is also set to launch a scheme offering subsidized education opportunities to students residing within municipal limits. This initiative, spearheaded by Administrator Shekhar Singh, received administrative approval during a special meeting of the municipal council and standing committee.
The meeting, attended by Additional Commissioners Pradeep Jambhale, Vijaykumar Khorate, and Chandrakant Indalkar, deliberated over various subjects requiring municipal consent. The agenda included proposals for developmental projects and administrative clearances essential for the smooth implementation of municipal schemes.
The repair work on roads and the educational initiative are part of PCMC’s broader efforts to enhance civic amenities and educational accessibility for residents.
