Police arrest two youths for terrorizing the community by damaging vehicles in Pimple Gurav, Navi Sangvi.

In a harrowing incident, two youths vandalized 14 vehicles in the Pimple Gurav area near Mayur Nagri, Pimpri-Chinchwad. The intent was to spread fear. The accused, identified as Shashikant Bansode and Prathamesh Ingle, were apprehended shortly after the rampage. On Tuesday, around 5:30 pm, police took the duo to the scene of the crime before removing them from the area.

The vandalism spree occurred around 4 a.m. on Sunday. It also involved a violent confrontation. According to the Sangvi police, the accused were searching for a man named Lala Patil. They were seeking revenge for a prior assault that took place near the Mayurinagari Housing Society. When the accused asked a passerby for Patil’s whereabouts, the man refused to provide information. In retaliation, they stabbed him with a spear. Following the attack, Bansode and Ingle continued their destruction, smashing car windows. They went on to create havoc throughout the neighborhood.

Police responded swiftly, arriving at the scene as soon as the incident was reported. After reviewing CCTV footage from the area, Sangvi police were able to track down them. Police arrested the suspects within hours, the two are now facing charges for their violent actions.
