PM Modi: ‘Article 370’ Movie Aims to Provide “Correct Information” To People
During a recent rally in Jammu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the forthcoming film ‘Article 370,’ shedding light on the decision to revoke the special clause for Jammu and Kashmir.
While expressing the importance of this decision and despite not having seen the movie, he suggested that it would provide people with accurate information.
Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who features prominently in the movie, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for acknowledging ‘Article 370.’ She deemed the Prime Minister’s comments valuable and pledged to meet the expectations associated with the film.
As the anticipation for the film grows, the makers of ‘Article 370’ have introduced a special offer for its release. On the first day, audiences can watch the movie for Rs 99.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film, slated for release on February 23, showcases Yami Gautam in the role of an NIA officer.
Given the sensitive nature of the subject, the film has already stirred controversy. Focused on the abrogation of Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir, ‘Article 370’ will not be screened in the region.
Despite potential challenges, the movie aims to provide a cinematic portrayal of a historic and contentious event, contributing to public awareness and discourse.
