PM Modi In Pune: Private Aerial Flights Banned On September 25 and 26
Pune, September 4 – In light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Pune on September 26, 2024, and to ensure the safety of high-profile individuals and maintain law and order, Pune District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase has issued a ban on private aerial activities. The prohibition will be in effect from midnight on September 25 until 11:59 PM on September 26 across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and rural areas of the district.
This includes restrictions on paragliding, hot air balloon safaris, drones, microlight airplanes, and other private aerial flights. Violators will face legal action under Section 223 of the Indian Civil Aviation Security Code 2023, as specified in the order.
