‘PM Modi’s Life is in Danger, Save Him’: Alarming Call Received by Pimpri-Chinchwad Police
An individual was detained by Wakad Police after contacting the emergency control room with a false claim about a threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life. The call prompted immediate action from the Pimpri-Chinchwad police, who swiftly located and detained the individual for questioning.
The Prime Minister was scheduled to inaugurate 12 key projects, including the Metro, and perform Bhumi Pujan during his visit to Pune on September 26th. However, due to heavy rainfall in the region, the visit was cancelled.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning (September 26), when the caller urgently stated, “Save Prime Minister Narendra Modi… help him.” Police traced the call to the Thergaon area and quickly located the person, who was waiting at a bus stop. The individual, a resident of Udgir, had traveled to Thergaon to visit a friend.
Authorities are now investigating the individual’s motives for making the alarming call, which caused significant concern.
