Modi expressed his delight over the calf’s arrival, quoting ancient scriptures that speak to the sacred status of cows: “Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada,” which signifies cows as symbols of prosperity and happiness. The calf was born to a cow he personally fed, and its unique forehead marking inspired its name, ‘Deepjyoti,’ meaning a symbol of light and hope.
