PMC and Pune Police forms 15 member team to keep an eye on violators

With the surge in Covid19 cases in the last few days, Pune Municipal Corporation has formed 4 member team consisting of two sanitary inspectors and two police personnel who will keep an eye on the violators who are not wearing masks, not following social distancing, etc.

A joint meeting of Pune Municipal Corporation and Pune Police was held recently in which the decision was taken to form a team to keep an eye on violators.

At all the 15 ward offices of Pune Municipal Corporation such teams have been formed who are authorised to take action against those not following the Covid19 safety guidelines issued by the Pune Municipal Corporation.

At all the public places, it is made mandatory to wear masks, follow social distancing, use sanitisers, be it malls, shops, hotels, restaurants, etc. If found guilty strict action shall be taken and fine shall be imposed on those violating the rules.
