The Deputy Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation’s Encroachment Department, Madhav Jagtap, is surrounded by controversy following the incident where he was seen kicking a stall while an anti encroachment drive was being held at F C road.
His actions resulted in criticism from all squares and led to division of his power too.
Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar has taken a step and removed two Zones from his work and appointed him the head for two three zones. Jagtap was also issued a show cause notice by the Commissioner in the viral video case.
PMC has appointed a néw Deputy Commissioner Raju Nandkar who will see the work in zone one and two while three four and five will be looked by Madhav Jagtap. Madhav Jagtap will also look at the sky signs department.
