PMC to supply water at very low pressure in ‘these’ areas

The Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC) water supply department will provide water supply from January 8 to January 22 for several Pune areas. As per further information from the PMC, currently, 900 mm water is being supplied from the existing MLR tank at Parvati. 

Under the ‘Equal Water Supply Scheme’, work of the newly laid water line between Parvati MLR Tank to Jagtap House has been completed. The connection works of the said line will be done from 8/1/2024 to 22/1/2024.

Due to the said work, the water supply will be provided from an alternate line for only one time and with reduced pressure for the following areas :

·      Prabhag 18 – Swargate Police Line, Jagdewadi Khadakmal Ali, entire area of Ghorpadi Peth, Mominpura Purna, Timber Market, Mahatma Phule Peth, Ganjpeth, Thursday Peth, Dhobi Ghat, Khadak Police Colony, etc.

·          Prabhag 19 – Lohia Nagar, Inamkemala, Ghorpade Peth, Ekbote Colony, Kashiwadi, Guru Nanaknagar, Nehru Road, Purna Bhawani Peth Area, Balaji and Bhawani Mata Temple Area, Timber Market, New Nana Peth, Harkanagar, Chudaman Talim etc.

·          Prabhag 20 – Bhagwan Das Chal, Waymaker Chal New Nanapeth Parisar, Rajewadi, Patrachal SRA, Bhawani Peth Police Colony, Somwar Peth Police Colony, Barke Ali, Padmaji Society Parisar, Mahifil Wada, Sathewada, Ramesh Furniture Precinct, Cycle Society etc.

·          Prabhag 28 – Mukundnagar, Vehicle Depot, Apsara Talkies premises, Tilak Maharashtra University, C.P.W.D. Quarter, Ranka Hospital premises, Shankar Sheth Road S.T. Stand to Dhobi Ghat premises Right Side, Meera Society etc.

·          Prabhag 29 – Areas behind Lakshmi Narayan Chowki, Mitra Mandal Colony etc.

In the above areas of the city, water supply will be there at low pressure from 8/1/2024 to 22/1/2024. Hence, all the citizens must take note of this and cooperate with the PMC.
