Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives, Injures Four on Pune-Mumbai Highway
Traffic on the Mumbai Pune Expressway has been severely disrupted by an accident. The highway police responded quickly after the incident, which happened in the Mumbai-bound lane close to the Khopoli exit.
As per further information from the X handle of Tanaji Chikhale,Superintendent of Police, HSP, Raigad, “An accident has happened on the Mumbai lane on Mumbai-Pune expressway at Khopoli exit. The highway police is trying to sideline the accident vehicle & in a short time, the traffic will be cleared.”
As soon as they arrived on the scene, the highway police got to work sidelining the damaged car. A lot of work was put into making sure that the traffic flow would return quickly.
The authorities have asked commuters to use caution when passing through the impacted area and, if at all possible, to look for alternate routes.
